My computer keeps restarting on its own and after i log in it says it recovered from a serious something and I send the error report.I also scaned my computer with Norton Internet security and it says that it does not detect any viruses or anything.But still the computer restarts on its own.Someone please tell me a solution for this.

OK there some good answers there, but I suspect before you can do any of those, you'll have to be in normal mode. So I might suggest that you reboot in safe mode and run your anti-virus and any Mal-ware scanners that you have first.

Make sure the room temp is lower than 80 degrees F
so it doesnt overheat which causes shutdown in approx 1 min

To start with get rid of Norton AV as it is rubbish. Get a program called Avast Anti-virus and get spydoctor as well as they are both excellant programs. If you still have problems then re-install windows. ( If you havea disc).
heat can cause this open one side of the pc for a day and see if it happens
