The text on the browser (firefox) and on the whole computer changes by itself to what looks like the text on a typewriter. The icons and photos on some programs turn black or transparent and when I open some programs sometimes the whole box turns transparent and disappears. I scanned the computer with kaspersky internet security and counterspy but it doesnt detect any viruses or anything! whats wrong with it? how do i fix this?
If i restart it the computer it goes back to normal but after its been turned on for a while it does this again.

I feel its an issue with your memory. Either there are too many programs running in the background and these might not necessarily be visible or the memory card has conked off. Try using the comp in the safe mode for an hr and see if you have the same issues. If you do, then replace the memory bank or add more!!! If not, then you have too many programs loading up along with Windows. Hope this helps...

If you have an older graphics card, you might be having some hardware acceleration issues. Try adjusting it in your advanced display settings.
